KHMER (Type-K) VISA
VISA INFORMATION
- Visa is NOT transferable to a new passport
- Multiple entry visa and valid until passport expires.
- Eligible only for Cambodians or a child born abroad to a Cambodian parent.
- Passport must be valid for at least six(6) months (based on passport expiration date)
prior to the date of entry to Cambodia. - Only one(1) K-Visa can be issued on a passport.
- It is a sticker visa and need to be affixed to the passport visa page.
- Applicant's eligibility for visa is subject to screening and verification.

HOW TO APPLY FOR A K-VISA BY WALK-IN
- Embassy is now open for walk-in visa application/s between 10:00 am - 12:00 nn and 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm,
Monday to Friday only. - Make sure you already filled the visa application form/s and completed the visa requirements to avoid delay.
Kindly check their respective visa requirements. - For out of State walk-in, we recommend to set an appointment and click the link below.
Walk-in appointment to the Embassy (Washington D.C.) - You can submit multiple visa applications.
Subject to screening and verification. (Not all walk-in applicants are guaranteed a visa).
HOW TO APPLY FOR A K-VISA BY MAIL

DO's & DON'Ts WHEN YOU SUBMIT VIA MAIL
- Take out any passport cover, receipt, ticket, vaccination card or any loose pages.
- Send it with FedEx or UPS (recommended)
If you prefer USPS, use priority mail envelope with tracking number and posted stamps - Always remember to insert a prepaid self-address return envelope to send back your passport.
- Take a photo or save a copy of the envelope and the official receipt for future reference, if needed.
- Insert the visa application form/documents to its respective passport (for multiple visa application only).
PROCESSING TIME
- 5-7 working days in order the application is received + return shipping days. (for mailing applicant's only)

- I just received my new passport, how soon I can apply for a K-Visa?
Answer. You can submit anytime your K-Visa application to the Embassy either via mail with tracking number or walk-in, set an appointment to the Embassy. - Do I need to submit my actual passport?
Answer. Yes, because it is a sticker visa and needs to affixed to your passport, signed, and stamped. - Can I obtain K-Visa online?

Answer. Yes, you can still apply for K-Visa and may submit either one of the following accepted supporting documents below.
- Copy of your old K-Visa and passport bio-page.
- Copy of US Naturalization Certificate
- Cambodia family book
- Cambodia ID Card - I am submitted more than one visa application via mail, can I send them all together in one envelope?
Answer. Yes, select a sturdy envelope to mail the passport and documents. - I am a foreigner and married to a Cambodian, Do I eligible to apply for K-Visa?
Answer. No, you are not eligible to apply for K-Visa. - My foreign passport expired with a K-Visa and I got a new passport. Does K-Visa still valid or transferrable?
Answer. No, when foreign passport expires, the K-Visa expires as well and it is not transferable.
You need to apply K-Visa to your new foreign passport. - Can I obtain K-Visa at the Cambodia International Airport?
Answer. Yes, Visas upon arrival is now available but you still need to check with the airline representative to avoid inconvenience about your travel and obtaining visa upon arrival at the Cambodia Airport.
